Coat of arms in three forms designed by Serbian Heraldry Society (basic, middle, grater) and flag are adopted by councillor of the Civic municipality of New Belgrade. They also adopted Decision about usage and protection of arms and flag which defines their usage.

Flag is banner of arms form greater coat of arms of New Belgrade. It is not same as the shield, but with similiar elemnts. Flag is red with Belgrade flag in the canton, fimbrated white. Red field is charged with threewhite rectangles (billets) positioned 2+1.

Municipal arms contain pall argent which divides shield in three parts. Bottom part aludes at City of Belgrade arms (white fortress on red hill). Other two parts are charged with three white billets positioned 2+1.

Combination of colours resembles the flag of Serbia and former federation (Yugoslavia), whose government seat is/was on the territory of New Belgrade municipality.

Middle Arms of New Belgrade also has a crest is in form of golden mural crown with four visible merlons, meaning that the bearer of arms is territory with more then 100000 inhabitants.

Supporters on greater arms are swallows, symbolizing nature awakening and renewal of life. They also symbolize home settling and weaving of nest.
