Arilje

Symbols of Arilje were officialy adopted in autumn 1998. They were designed by the Serbian Heraldry Society "White Eagle".

Banner of arms from greater arms is also official flag of this municipality. It is square shaped and the design is same as basic arms (shield).

Arms of arilje is Argent, Pall Azure (representing rivers Veliki Rzav and Moravica). St. Achileus' cross Or on Escutcheon Gules. St Achileus is a patron saint of the municipality.

Background of shield of middle arms of Arilje is blue ring bordured gold with cyrillic inscription of municipality name and years: 1296 and 1880. Shield is crowned with silver mural crown with three visible merlons. Raspberry and oak branches are around the shield.

Right supporter on greater arms of Arilje is Stefan Dragutin of Serbia, holding the local church of St. Achileus. Left Supporter is Saint Achileus. Banners of arms are those of Serbia and Arilje. Motto is the name of the municipality in cyrillic script.
